ABOUT THE ROLE:
Are you an analytical leader with the ability to drive results? Do you consistently challenge the status quo and seek to drive continual improvement? The Vice President, Accounting oversees the Company's accounting operations, including preparing financial statements for multiple stakeholders and maintaining effective internal control process. The Vice President, Accounting reports to the SVP, Controller and leads a team of 13 within Victra’s accounting department. Other responsibilities include:
KEY RESPONSABILITIES:
- Responsible for the execution of the Company’s accounting function and assisting with treasury operations.
- Manage the monthly financial close process.
- Lead the company’s financial reporting function, including financial statement preparation and reporting to stakeholders.
- Improve and oversee internal control systems to ensure accurate financial statements and an appropriate control environment within Victra.
- Research and implement new accounting standards, including analysis of prospective financial statement impacts.
- Oversee the annual audit process and facilitate the timely and accurate preparation of all necessary documentation for auditors.
- Oversee ERP system use, collaborate with IT on POS and data projects for accurate accounting, and leverage automation tools and AI.
- Lead the Company’s billing and collections processes.
- Ad hoc reporting and analysis, along with special projects on an as needed basis.
- Develop and manage high-performing teams by promoting a culture of accountability, ongoing improvement, and strategic problem-solving. Recruit, mentor, and retain exceptional accounting professionals to ensure operational excellence and maximize business outcomes.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Have you ever demonstrated leadership by collaborating with a diverse group in an exciting environment, using innovative approaches to achieve successful outcomes? You can anticipate the next business cycle and challenge norms with clear, well-supported proposals. We are looking for the Vice President, Accounting to also bring the following:
- 12+ years of finance experience, including significant supervisory responsibilities
- CPA/MBA with a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
- Experience in Public Accounting and in a publicly traded or PE-backed company
- Retail or multi-unit experience
- Demonstrates strong communication skills with a proven ability to present complex financial information clearly and effectively to varied audiences.

- Experienced in leading process improvements and implementing top solutions, including identifying operational bottlenecks, developing strategic plans for efficiency, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful adoption and measurable results.
